Where are these pools of hot water located? I like the idea of the tub crawl. Next couple of weeks are a little messed, but how about November.
Tub Description.
Berkeley Hills behind the Claremont, Surrounded by trees with views of San Francisco and the Bay. Seats 7 comfortably, though the record is 24, but we had to refill it afterwards. Worst color it's been is green, apparently from a bottle of Medori.

Re: So where are these hot tubs?
Mon, January 10, 2005 - 1:27 PMMine is located 18 miles from the South entrance to Yosemite. Surrounded by trees and is of course my little slice of heaven in the Mountains.
So far, no fabric has EVER been in the tub.

Re: So where are these hot tubs?
Fri, June 3, 2005 - 1:40 AMEast Oakland flats in a creek valley. Urban but doesn't look it, with trees all over and a park next door. Two tree hammocks, in a 150 ft redwood and a clump of huge eucalyptus. Tub is 5' deep, 5'8" wide, made of jarrah, record is 15 people, tub is about 2/3 full after that. I have regular parties, write me for private tribe membership. -

Wed, October 19, 2005 - 10:44 PMEeek, gas line, huh? I opted for electricity. We had to run 220 to the back yard, but that's easier than gas. -

Re: So where are these hot tubs?
Tue, October 25, 2005 - 11:20 AMOh, how I hate gas line. In addition to running gas for the
tub, my dryer conveniently died and it was decided to replace
it with a gas dryer as well. So, I guess my NG bill will be a
bit higher this winter.
In running the gas line, a fitting was "sand pitted" and when I
pressure tested the line, there were 3 leaks in the body of the
fitting. Not a fun thing to track down. But it works.
I have to say, I am happy w/ the gas heater. I'm still breaking
in the tub, the tannic acid is still leaching into the water. When
I emptied and refilled it last week, the tub heated back up in
about 3 hours.
